Show happens on the next wednesday in Porto Alegre
Joe Lynn Turner, the ex-Deep Purple, Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist, is going to make a gig in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, on the next Wednesday, May 26th, at Bar Opinião. The show is part of the "The Blood Red Sky Tour", the current Brazilian tour of the north american musician.
The veteran Brazilian Classic Rock/Progressive band APOCALYPSE was invited to be the opening act. The band's show will mark the pre-release of it's 25th Anniversary Special Box that will bring a book, DVD and two CDs, one being the new APOCALYPSE's studio album.
"It's an honor to share the stage with a legend like Joe Lynn Turner" , celebrates Gustavo Demarchi, APOCALYPSE's vocalist and flautist. "Particularly, I was always deeply influenced by hard rock bands like Rainbow and Deep Purple, and Joe is one of my heroes. I was already counting the days for this show, so imagine my joy when I received the news that we would make the opening! This is another great chapter in Apocalypse's history. "
APOCALYPSE's setlist will be based upon the entire discography of the band, mainly on the more recent effort, The Bridge Of Light, released in 2008 by Free Mind Records in Brazil and Musea Records in Europe and Asia.
