Apocalypse receives Trophy Vasco Prado

Band was honored by it's 25 years career

In the last October 30th, during it's presentation at the '13th Jornada Nacional de Literatuda de Passo Fundo (RS)' (National Day of Literature), APOCALYPSE received the trophy Vasco Prado in honor of it's 25 years career. The presentation of the Classic Rock/Progressive group attended by an audience of over 2 thousand people and was broadcast live on local television for the entire region of Passo Fundo. The group played classical songs from your European CDs such as "Cut" and "Refuge", and the compositions "Ocean Soul", "Follow The Bridge", "Not Like You" and "Last Paradise", all present in the new album of the band, The Bridge of Light.

The '13th Jornada Nacional de Literatura de Passo Fundo' is one of the most important cultural events in Brazil. This year the event happened at the Passo Fundo University and had the presence of big names in the international literary scene as the Mexican Guillermo Arriaga, the Dutchman Wim Veen, the Italian Carlo Frabetti and the Angolan José Eduardo Agualusa. Representing the Brazilian literature, attended Moacyr Scliar, Ignacio de Loyola Brandão, Fernando Bonassi, Lucia Santaella and Marcello Dantas.
"We are really excited about this honor", celebrated APOCALYPSE's keyboardist, Eloy Fritsch, who received the trophy on behalf of the band. "The event was really excellent and the organization is to be congratulated for prioritizing the art and culture. We would like to thank all the affection and attention."
In addition to the performance with APOCALYPSE, Eloy Fritsch also participated in the event during the debate 'Literature, theater, music and new technologies'.
